Kalinga TV, a 24-hour Odia news channel of Kalinga Media & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., was founded by philanthropist and educationist Dr. Achyuta Samanta, with renowned senior journalist Shri Soumyajit Pattnaik at its helm as the Chief Editor, leading the channel with professionalism and vision.
Kalinga TV is a 24-hour news channel and plans to be the premiere news channel in Odisha with special emphasis on social development.

The company was incorporated on 24.04.2013 under the Companies Act of 1956.
