The purpose of this channel is to share practical 'how-to' examples built with modern technologies.

Featured technologies include Kafka et. al (e.g. Connect, KSQL, Schema Registry, Avro), draggy-droppy streaming technologies (e.g. StreamSets, Nifi), and a variety of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. Elastic, Neo4j).

From a development/language perspective, the solutions are mostly Spring (Java) and Python. From a use-case perspective, the examples are mostly cyber-security (e.g. Zeek, honeypots), supply chain, and machine learning.
