Selkie Engineering

Founded in 2020 by a team of graduate students and professional engineers --Selkie Engineering is an effort to provide content that amplifies and clarifies the governing dynamics and first principles of engineering as they apply specifically to Naval Architecture. Providing high-quality video clips, laboratory experiments, worked examples and interactive learning opportunities, the goal of all our content is to engage engineers and engineering students across a broad variety of subject areas in a manner that helps them connect the theory of engineering with a practical understanding. We believe this philosophy is essential to create engineers who can think critically and firmly grasp the real-world intent behind the academic problems they are learning to solve.
