Hi, lovely language learners!

As a Japan-based EFL (English as a foreign language) instructor, my students frequently ask me how to improve their English skills. That's why I'm building this YouTube channel offering advice regarding the skills, habits, and approaches I believe can best help ELLs (English language learners). I'm proficient in French, Japanese, and English (my native tongue), and have experience learning Spanish, Italian, Norwegian, and Danish. I can relate to your struggles as a language learner, and my 25+ years of teaching experience means I can help you learn how to learn!

My main focus on this channel is STRATEGIES and SKILLS for LEARNING English. However, I may create other types of content, like grammar or vocabulary lessons or content for specific university courses I teach. I try to simplify my language and slow my speech rate in the videos on this channel. As a VERY busy teacher, I hope you don't mind my irregular posting schedule!
