Rathijit Bhattacharjee is an eminent name in music industry,he is hailed from a small town of North-East India with full of dream in his eyes. he was born in an middle class family on MAY, 22, of a small township BADARPUR, Assam. He is the youngest among the three siblings. His father RAMENDRA MOHON BHATTACHARJEE was an employee of Indian Railways. Rathijit first performed on stage when he was only four years old and he left an indelible impression on the listeners by his soulful singing.. His family and his first music teacher Anupam deb wished that Rathijit should become a singer which brought him to Kolkatta, where he enrolled himself In RABINDRA BHRATHI. Meanwhile, he has won awards at many singing competitions.. Later he went for training under Acharya JayantaBasu. In 2006 he participated in Zee Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and became 2nd runners up .He worked as a music director in 2011 with prolific singers like KailashKher, KunalGanjawala
