CollectiWise is a consultancy on Augmented Intelligence (AI) and Collective Intelligence (CI). We believe that part of intelligence is the ownership of goals. Artificial Intelligence is a misnomer because the algorithms don't have their own goals--the actual goals belong to organizations and individual humans and thus the name for the machine aspect of this intelligence should be Augmented Intelligence; it augments the intelligence of some human or group of humans. There are two forms of AI: competitive and cooperative AI. When AI is cooperative it enables collective intelligence, which involves both, humans and machines. Our ethical stance is informed by Amartya Sen's and Martha Nussbaum's Capability Approach.
Since January 1st 2023, CollectiWise is producing the podcast Utopias, Dystopias and Today's Technology, the attempt to start a global conversation on technology and humans, which will be featured here.
