The mission of Masjid Al Farooq is to conduct religious, charitable, and educational activities in accordance with the religion of Islam. Any activity contrary to or in conflict with the Quran and Sunnah (teachings and practices) of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) shall not be permitted within or under the auspices of Masjid Al Farooq.
The vision of Masjid Al Farooq is to be the premier Islamic institution on Chicago’s South Side that provides the next generation of Muslims a sound and balanced Islamic education in a structured Islamic environment. MAF is led by A scholar of Islam called Ousmane Drame, he is the Imam of Masjid Al Farooq on the south-east side of Chicago, Illinois. He has enriched the community with programs designed to teach and bring guidance of Islam for the past 15 years and counting.
