Quick Tech – Stuff that lands on my desk.
Overclocking life since 1981.
I’ve been tinkering with tech longer than some CPUs have been alive – 37 years of pushing limits, breaking things (sometimes on purpose), and occasionally fixing them too.
A bit about me:
I’ve worked across pure research, the public sector, IT heavyweights like Microsoft, and consulted for the banking and finance world since the mid-'80s. Back when AARNET, Telnet, Gopher, and FTP were the Internet – and "surfing the web" meant using a terminal in UNIX or VMS.
The good old days? Maybe. The dark ages? Definitely.
Still here. Still curious. Still clocking things a little too far.
