ZAL Academies

ZAL stands for Zagros Academies of Learning and has two academies, Parow and Yafte that can be viewed at www.zalacademies.org. Parow Academy presents materials in Farsi and Yafte is in English. The name Parow comes from the name of a summit near Kermanshah, Iran and Yafte is a mountain near KhoramAbad, Iran. Both mountains are part of Zagros range. ZAL is also a historical legend in Persian epic who was raised in Alborz, another mountain range in Iran, by a legendry bird called Seymorgh.
