My name is John; I am a quant and I am a teacher.

I am passionate about math, passionate about statistics, passionate about data science, passionate about machine learning, passionate about finance, and passionate about you.

I know how hard it is to learn this stuff by yourself.

In graduate school, I found myself drawn to new and complex modelling techniques that my professors were not familiar with. It took hundreds of painstaking hours to teach myself enough to fill in the gaps. That's why I have created this channel: I am here to help people like myself, who are fascinated by and passionate about applying quantitative techniques to financial questions and trading, and especially those who lack access to knowledgeable professionals.
