Hi, I’m a Mathematics self-learner in my late 50s.
A former member, as a graduate student, of a high energy particle physics experiment, where I obtained a PhD. Previously, I studied engineering, and I now work in IT. The three fields I am most interested in are Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science.
I am interested in covering the undergraduate curriculum in Mathematics while busy with family and a full-time job. I have explored some of Number Theory and Mathematical Analysis, Linear Algebra, and am now deep into Abstract Algebra.
I am very much a collector (of stamps since my childhood), and now I also collect math books. Lately, I have begun collecting pencils, and you will see the occassional pencil video here.
If you want to hear a lot about baby Rudin and Gummit & Foote, you have come to the right place! I hope you are able to join me in this Mathematical Adventure.
