Scorched Mind

Forming in late 2023, the Northeastern Pennsylvania quartet Scorched Mind — Michael Tyahur [guitar / Mind Power] and James Slattery [drums / Sleepsculptor, Toothless] along with Jake Moyer [vocals / Sleepsculptor] and Jim Conlon [bass / Machine Arms]— set out to form a chaotic blend of sludgy, unrelenting beatdown grooves, blasting death metal carnage, and metallic HM2 driven hardcore riffs. Scorched Mind’s sound is somewhat unique, but draws heavy inspiration from bands like: Nails, Full Of Hell, & END. The end result is barrage of sonic punishment and crushing violence.
