We are committed to helping our customers succeed in their business. ifm efector is the USA subsidiary of the global company, ifm electronic gmbh, Germany. Since 1969, ifm has developed, manufactured and marketed sensors and controls technology to industries that include automotive, material handling, metal forming, mobile equipment, food & beverage, and autonomous mobile robotics.

In 1985, ifm USA was established in Chester County, PA. Since then, we’ve experienced tremendous growth of over 200 employees from the surrounding area, the expansion of 10 branches offices throughout the US, the opening of a manufacturing & technology center, ifm prover, in Malvern, PA (2012), and the building of a new 55,000 square-foot stocking and distribution facility in Downingtown, PA (May 2022). We are ISO 9001:2015 certified.

Today, roughly 330 dedicated individuals drive innovation and productivity and successfully service 23,000 customers resulting in $260 Million in annual sales (2022).
