The Suborbitals

Formed in 2003, The Suborbitals is an original low-rock band that features the songwriting of Ryan Masters, the baritone sax of Ben Herod and the incomparable rhythm section of Heath Proskin and Gordon Stokes. “It's a unique sound...and dark. It’s really wonderful,” said Sleepy John Sandidge of KPIG. Popdust called The Suborbitals “wickedly tight burlesque strip club music, the kind you'd find at a gentleman's club on the wrong side of the tracks, rife with deep tones from the sax and theatrical vocals.” The SubOs released two albums, Blackout Rolling (2006) and Hey Oblivion (2018).
