The Real Story with Sanghmitra Hitaishi

Through The Real Story, I am trying to share a testament to the enduring power of the human spirit and the transformative potential of storytelling.

It began as a response to a culture of noise, performance, and curated vulnerability.
It is a way to make space. For pause. For honesty. For what doesn’t usually get said.
To sit with people who are not here to sell an image but to speak from the place beneath it.
To ask the questions that don’t have clean answers.
To hold room for complexity, contradiction, and courage, not as performance but as necessity.

We sit down to ask the questions no one else is asking about, identity, survival, ambition, womanhood, art, shame, loneliness, rage, and the quiet courage it takes to live an honest life in a dishonest world.

Each conversation is a mirror, not just for the guest, but for all of us trying to make sense of who we are and what matters.

Welcome !
