MaTH - Math Tutorials by Harpreet

My name is Harpreet and I am a Mathematics Educator. I am based out of Vancouver, Canada. I was born and raised in India. I am a M.Sc. (Mathematics) graduate from India and has completed a PhD in Mathematics Education from Canada. I have always been an advocate of face-to-face learning interactions and experiences. I absolutely love two-way communication with my students.

Due to this unfortunate COVID-19 situation, as our educational institutions are forced to stop face-to-face classes, I had to resort to online teaching. Being a mother of two little ones, I find it challenging to do synchronous online lectures from home, so I started creating videos of math lectures (pre-calculus and calculus) for my students and they loved it. Recognizing the challenges that many parents face while home schooling their children in the current situation, I thought it would be a great idea to share these math lectures with the wider community. That's the little birth story of my channel.
