Education is so important because it's the one thing that can transcends your social and economic status. It doesn’t matter if you were born poor or rich; getting an education can help you to reach your full potential.

Reena knew this and even though her mother disagreed with her she knew that the only way she was going to really be able to help her family and her community was to get an education. It took a long time but once she was able to convince them, she worked so hard to get to a point where she could come back and give everyone, especially the girls in her village the same opportunity she had.
