وُلدت نُهاد وديع حداد في 21 نوفمبر 1935، وعُرفت باسمها الفني فيروز، الصوت الذي أصبح رمزًا للبنان وذاكرةً عربية لا تُنسى. هي مطربة وممثلة لبنانية، تُعد من أقدم الفنانين المعاصرين، ومن أبرز وجوه الجيل الذهبي للمسرح والموسيقى اللبنانية. بصوتها الشجي وأغانيها الخالدة، تجاوزت حدود الوطن لتلامس قلوب المستمعين في الشرق والغرب، فغدت أيقونة فنية عالمية. في لبنان، لُقبت بـ "العمود السابع لبعلبك"، تكريمًا لمكانتها الراسخة في وجدان الأمة وثقافتها
نصري شمس الدين (27 يونيو 1927 – 18 مارس 1983) كان أحد أعمدة الفن المسرحي والغنائي في لبنان. ترك إرثًا فنيًا غنيًا تجاوز خمسمائة عمل غنائي، تنوّعت بين المواويل والدبكات والأغاني العاطفية والوطنية والثنائيات الغنائية. وامتد حضوره ليشمل جميع أعمال الأخوين رحباني المسرحية والسينمائية والتلفزيونية، بالإضافة إلى الاسكتشات الإذاعية التي أضفت على صوته طابعًا شعبيًا محببًا.
وديع بشارة يوسف فرنسيس (1 نوفمبر 1921 – 11 أكتوبر 2013)، المعروف فنيًا بوديع الصافي، فقد كان صوتًا لبنانيًا أصيلًا حمل الأغنية اللبنانية إلى آفاق عربية واسعة. تميّز بأسلوبه الخاص في الغناء والتلحين، وأسهم بشكل جوهري في ترسيخ قواعد الفن اللبناني وتطويره. بدأت رحلته الفنية في سن السادسة عشرة، حين فاز بجميع فئات مسابقة غنائية نظّمتها الإذاعة اللبنانية، متفوّقًا على أربعين متسابقًا، ما شكّل انطلاقة مبكرة لمسيرة استثنائية.
جوزيف عازار (وُلد عام 1942 في جزين، لبنان) هو مطرب ومغني لبناني اشتهر بأغنياته ومشاركاته العديدة في المسرح الغنائي اللبناني, وُلِد في بلدة جزّين في لبنان لأبوين لبنانيين. في نهاية عام 1958، انتقل إلى بيروت ودرس الموسيقى في الكونسرفتوار اللبناني, تعلم في المعهد الوطني للموسيقى في بيروت. بدأ مسيرته عام 1961 مع الأخوين رحباني وفيروز في "البعلبكية"، ثم شارك في عدة أعمال أُخرى منها: «جسر القمر» (1962)، و «حلو» (1963)، و «بياع الخواتم». ظهر في المسرحية الغنائية الشلال من إخراج روميو لحّود وتأليف وليد غلمية.
ويُعد كل من نصري شمس الدين ووديع الصافي حجرَي الأساس في بناء ما يُعرف اليوم بالأغنية الجبلية اللبنانية، تلك التي استلهمت منها الأجيال اللاحقة روحها وأصالتها، فكانا مناراتٍ فنيةً أضاءت دروب الغناء اللبناني.

She is one of the oldest living contemporary artists and a luminous figure from the golden age of Lebanese theater and music. Nasri Shamseddine (June 27, 1927 – March 18, 1983) was a celebrated Lebanese singer and stage performer. His artistic legacy includes nearly 500 songs, spanning traditional mawwals, lively dabbkas, romantic ballads, patriotic anthems, and memorable duets. He was a constant presence in the theatrical, cinematic, and television productions of the Rahbani Brothers, as well as in their radio sketches, making his voice a cornerstone of Lebanese musical theater.
Wadih Bshara Youssef Francis (November 1, 1921 – October 11, 2013), known as Wadih El Safi, was a legendary Lebanese singer and composer whose influence extended across the Arab world. He played a pioneering role in shaping and promoting Lebanese music, establishing its foundations and spreading its melodies far beyond Lebanon’s borders. His distinctive style in both singing and composition became a hallmark of Lebanese artistry. His musical journey began at the age of sixteen, when he won a national singing competition organized by the Lebanese radio, outperforming 40 other contestants across all categories.
Together, Nasri Shamseddine and Wadih El Safi are regarded as the twin pillars of what is now known as the Lebanese mountain song (al-ughniya al-jabaliyya). Their voices became guiding lights for generations of artists who followed, preserving the soul of Lebanon in song.
