The day before the governor in Georgia shut down the state during the pandemic, I went on a listing appointment. I remember telling the homeowners, I really don’t know what’s going to happen to the real estate market. I don’t know if now is a good time to sell.

You know what happened next?

The real estate market went nuts. Home sales exploded, home values escalated and it was in fact a terrific time to sell a home.

But it turned out, it was not a great time for them to sell personally.

So the answer to the question is really, when it works for you. The market is going to market. It will fluctuate with what’s going on locally and on a national scale. But if things aren’t right in your personal world, none of that matters. So make the best decision for you and your family. The rest will fall into place.
