Minority Enterprise Development Week (MED Week) Offers a venue for minority-owned firms to access information, tools, and resources to grow their businesses both domestically and internationally through networking events,workshops, and issue forums. The events that compose MED Week are meant to raise awareness among minority business owners, and the larger business community and support these businesses in their efforts to grow to scale.

The Long Island African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. was founded in 2010 and is New York State’s Largest African American Chamber of Commerce and was named the Metro New York District of the United States Small Business Administration 2019 Small Business Champion for 14 counties in Downstate, New York. LI African American Chamber of Commerce, Inc., a participating organization in the Community Navigator Pilot Program, is funded in part through United States Black Chamber’s grant with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
