PKR MP Hassan Abdul Karim said Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim does not need to resign over the royal addendum issue as demanded by certain parties.

He said this following the court's decision to grant Najib Abdul Razak leave for a judicial review over a royal addendum which would allow the latter to be held under house arrest.

Instead, he said that Anwar should be praised for his commitment to upholding judicial independence.
