See below for a first impression/mini review and how it compares to the very popular Tom Ford Metal Lust on the left & Cocoa Mirage on the right, Smoky Quartz is in the middle… there is a similarity but also a distinct difference:
Granite eye kohl is a very cool toned dark taupe brown shade, not a charcoal shade as expected from the name… love it
Smoky Quartz palette: from initial swatching all the shades are creamy, swatch very well and are buildable, the celestial shade is a gorgeous peachy rose gold… consistent with other palettes… overall a neutral cool leaning color story
The top shades in Cocoa Mirage are very similar but the cream shade is slightly lighter and cooler, the bottom shades are much more brown toned and also warmer compared to the shades in Smoky Quartz, which have a mauve and plum tone
All of the shades in Metal Lust are a bit deeper except the dark taupe glitter shade that is lighter than the deep grey taupe shade
