👟 Footwear Recommendation: Very Very Important

Winters:
If you're trekking during the snow season, it's crucial to have proper hiking shoes with good traction. You can rent them from the locals, but please avoid using sports or casual shoes; you'll 100% regret it!

Summer:
During summers, wear hard-soled shoes with good grip, or you can pretty much wear whatever you're comfortable in for long durations.

🚌 Day 1: Departure from Delhi to Kheerganga

Morning: Embarking from Delhi

It's an early start from Delhi! Hop on the bus headed to Bhunter, and get ready for the adventure ahead. The journey takes around 12-14 hours and costs approximately ₹800-1000.

Afternoon/Evening: Arriving at Bhunter

After a long journey, you'll reach Bhunter. From there, catch a shared cab to Kasol main market for about ₹300-400. From Kasol, another shared cab will take you to Barshaini village, the starting point of your trek. It's about ₹300 per person or ₹1200 for the whole cab.

🌄 Day 2: Trek to Kheerganga

Morning: Let the Trek Begin!
Wake up to the crisp mountain air in Barshaini. The trek starts with a walk across a bridge, with the majestic Kalga Dam in sight. Lace up your boots and get ready for an unforgettable journey.

Afternoon: Pitstop at Nakthan Village

As the day progresses, you'll come across Nakthan village. If the sun starts to dip, consider staying here overnight. A room can be arranged for around ₹1200, giving you a chance to recharge for the rest of the trek.

Late Afternoon/Evening: Continuing the Journey

After a well-deserved rest, it's time to push forward. Along the way, make a stop at ICY, a small cluster of shops offering the famous 'pahad vali maggi'. It's a perfect snack to fuel your hike to Kheerganga top.
Night: Reaching Kheerganga Summit

As darkness falls, you'll finally reach Kheerganga top. The hot water springs near Kheerganga Mandir await, offering a soothing reward for your efforts. However, please note that the kund (pool) might be closed due to recent issues with littering and disrespectful behavior. Let's tread lightly and respect this sacred place.
