Okay, okay, I had this planned after I finished The Letter for the King and wanted to make it a TLFTK crossover but...that plan changed the second I could use my Borgia eps and this happened. Also, thank you to Cate for suggesting Yennefer, Alfred and Lagertha, this was so much fun to edit ahkfjg

I really wanted to do a crossover with characters I normally don't use so this was a treat. I did change things around a lot so, nothing really stayed how I planned it in the beginning but I hope it is comprehensible.

Storyline (chronologically):
Lagertha, Viridian and Lucrezia are siblings. The three children of Enouwen's King. Viridian is the youngest, albeit the un-crowned King of Enouwen as their father has died whilst Viridian was in battle. The siblings are very tightly knit.
Lucrezia was married to King Alfred's brother when she was very young to strengthen ties. There, she made friends with the mage Yennefer, who took pity on the girl and took her under her wings. Teaching her useful ways to use herbs. Lucrezia took this as a chance to kill her husband.
Alfred suspects Lucrezia of having killed his brother and leaking information to her siblings to attack his Kingdom but has no proof which makes him threaten her. But one does not easily threaten a woman who has a powerful Kingdom and a mage behind her.
War breaks out, Alfred and Viridian stand face to face on the battlefield and in a last attempt to weaken Viridian, Alfred tells him that Lucrezia has died. He poisoned her.
Viridian, blinded by rage, rushes into battle and is eventually killed. Lagertha is left and now the reigning Queen of Enouwen.
-After the battle, Yennefer changes sides. With Lucrezia dead she doesn't have any purpose left in Alfred's court and wants to work for a higher goal she can actually defend.
Meanwhile, Alfred has gotten sick and is on the verge of dying. One night, a ghost comes back to haunt him. Lucrezia didn't die, Yennefer saved her and helped her poison Alfred, little by little.
