Online teaching and learning could lack learner engagement. Learner performance is linked to learner engagement. H5P's drag-and-drop interactivity can improve engagement levels and therefore learner performance. However, the interactivities need to be carefully structured to measure properly thought-out learning outcomes. Bloom's taxonomy is used in this regard. Teachers need to take hold of the process and learn to develop these interactivities themselves, and not leave the process to consultants.
