Fishing Planet | #45 - S3 | Curse of the Frankenfish 2019: Emerald Pikeslasher Monster!

In this episode, I start off by heading to Mudwater River, Missouri to complete the Dendrofin Monster Fish Mission. While I manage to snag enough bark to make the Dendrofin Spoon to catch the monster, only to spend about two hours (real time) trying to catch the thing. I eventually decide to come back at a later time to catch the elusive Dendrofin Monster Fish and head on to Emerald Lake, New York to complete the Emerald Pikeslasher Monster Mission. In this mission, you must catch at least one of all of the Pike species present in the lake in order to put together the Frankenfish Bait sought by the Emerald Pikeslasher Monster. Getting the pike species is the easy part...locating the Pikeslasher is a different matter. Timing, location, and presentation are all important! It took me about another two hours to finally locate and pull this guy in! Two (and a half) missions down!

Setup for Emerald Pikeslasher Monster:
- Any Matchstick Rod 15 Lb test or over and a reel at 15 Lbs or over.
- 15 + Lb test line (Fluoro is my choice)
- 36 inch lead
- Pear Bobber
- #2 Hook
Times:
9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. or 4:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Go to the left side at the Dock of Peace. Cast to the outer right edge of the line of lily pads (approximately 120 to 135 feet) You might see large splashes at the right location.
