While Hamas is reviewing the proposal “in good faith,” Islamic Jihad emphasized the deal would only entrench occupation and resistance. The Trump plan—which Netanyahu has agreed to and includes a ceasefire, hostage exchanges, and phased Israeli withdrawal—has been welcomed by many Arab and Muslim nations, but core Palestinian militant groups remain skeptical or hostile, arguing it lacks guarantees for Palestinian sovereignty and justice.
