In today’s world, mobile phones have become an inseparable part of our lives, but excessive screen time, especially for young children, can be harmful. Many parents have shared their concerns about their little ones spending too much time on phones, so I decided to address it in a way my kindergarteners would understand.

I invited two students from Class 5 and bandaged one of their eyes to show what can happen if we overuse mobile phones. The visual message really struck a chord with my kids — they saw how too much screen time could hurt their eyes, just like the older students who "injured" their eyes.

By turning this into a hands-on activity, my 'bchcha party' learned a valuable lesson about the importance of limiting screen time and protecting their health. This is something we need to emphasize more and more today. Let’s encourage healthier habits and ensure our kids stay safe and happy!
