Ar bhruach na farraige, faoin speiréirí,
Tá na róin ag suan síos, i gcodladh go sámh.

On the shore of the sea, beneath the stars so high,
The seals are slumbering, in peaceful dreams they lie.

Suantraí na róin, ceol na dtonnta,
Suan ortsa, a leanbh beag, go domhain, go fial.

Lullaby of the seals, the ocean's gentle song,
Go to sleep, deep and softly, little one.

Síolann na tonnta, os cionn na trá,
Ag suan na róin le neart a ghrá.

The waves do murmur, above the sandy bay,
Lulling the seals with love's embrace, they sway.

Ar fud na farraige, i dtírdhreacha na mara,
Bíonn na róin ag suan, i gceol álainn tráthnóna.

Across the sea's expanse, in the landscapes of the sea,
The seals are slumbering, to the beautiful melody.

Ag teacht le saol, is ag fás le spéir,
Suan ortsa, a leanbh, saol nua a thosaigh.

As life unfolds and grows under the sky,
Lullaby for you, little one, as a new life begins to fly.
