[TAS] GC Mario Party 5 "Story Mode, Hard" by Ripraf 2010 in

People say that Mario Party 5 is the worst mario party, but do I believe that? Well, there weren't any TASes of this game. and the first time I tried TASing this, the RNG was pretty difficult to manipulate for 3 koopa kids. So, here's a TAS of Mario Party 5 and it is played on Hard mode.

There was two ways of selecting Waluigi. One way was to wait til the pointer got bigger at Mario, then immediately move the control stick left 1 frame before pressing A. Another is the slower way, moving it all the way to the Right until it locks on him. Manipulating Koopa Kids is the key, making two land on a VS space while one will land on a red space. This is faster since they will all lose coins after a minigame. I went in the settings to change the text box speed to "Fast" so that text boxes will end quicker than leaving it in a normal speed, then manipulating for minigames that are faster then others. Although, making all three Koopa kids land on a VS space is quite triggering.

This TAS is only 3 Minutes slower then the WR Hard mode, and it gives the same exact party boards as shown in this TAS, but I don't think I'll be making a v2 improvement. Just like I did with Mario Party: The Top 100. Once again, the audio had desynced even when I tried re-dumping it. So it'll have to stay like this forever.
