Michael Arden Discusses "Once on This Island"

Michael Arden is a Presidential Scholar in the Arts, a recipient of the 2015-2016 Standout Award for Diversity and Inclusion and winner of the 2004 Tony Honor. Arden is also a Tony-nominated director for his revival of "Spring Awakening." He joined BUILD to talk about his new production, "Once on This Island," the universal tale of Ti Moune (2018 Tony Award nominee Hailey Kilgore), a fearless peasant girl in search of her place in the world, and ready to risk it all for love. Guided by the mighty island gods, Ti Moune sets out on a remarkable journey to reunite with the man who has captured her heart.
