Another counterfeit LSI HBA | 9211-8i with no LSI logo

Описание к видео Another counterfeit LSI HBA | 9211-8i with no LSI logo

I recently received an order of LSI 9211-8i cards that were counterfeit. These had the typical signs of missing LSI logo, no copyright mark, odd looking serial number and SAS address labels, etc. And this one also has the thinner heatsink that I found on the 9220-8i counterfeit card I previously showed in one of my older videos. However, something new that I discovered in this case is that it looks like the PCB does not use copper for the electrical conductor / traces on the board. And I also weighed the cards and found that the counterfeit was 10% heavier! In the video, I'll show you a side by side comparison of a genuine LSI 9211-8i vs this counterfeit 9211-8i so you can see the difference for yourself.
