WIPO Director General Francis Gurry and Chief Economist Carsten Fink discuss record-level international patent, trademark and industrial design filings in 2013. The United States and China drove a 5.1% increase in international patent filings. International trademark and designs filings also grew by 6.4% and 14.8%, respectively.
