The 2019 Australian International Airshow was once again the venue to be if one wanted to get up close and personal with the United States Air Force's mighty Boeing B-52H Stratofortress, or as many know it, the B-52 Bomber!
The 23rd Bomb Squadron based at Minot AFB in the US state of North Dakota are no strangers to Avalon, with the Squadron having the honor of flying the first B-52 to land here at Avalon back in 1999, with B-52H, 60-0051 'Appetite for Destruction'.
Aviation Spotters Online Videographer Mark Pourzenic was given the rare chance to film an interview and walk around with a crew member from 'Balls7' during the Airshow on a hot summers afternoon.
Along with the Friday night show flyover the 23rd Bomb Squadron certainly put on a fantastic show for all that attended Avalon 2019.
