FDNY Commissioner Robert S. Tucker, Mayor Eric Adams and Department of Transportation officials on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, announced details of a micromobility device and lithium-ion battery trade-in pilot program for New York City's food delivery workers. The program will be the first of its kind in the United States.
