Duke vs. Virginia Tech: The No. 13 Duke Blue Blue Devils improved to 7-0 on the road with a 7-1 win in Blacksburg over the No. 16 Virginia Tech Hokies on Saturday. Freshman Cassidy Hurd got the start in the circle and recorded the win by allowing just 1 earned run off of 1 hit in 4 2/3 innings of work to move to 7-0 on the season. Ana Gold hit a grand slam in the top of the 7th inning to give the Blue Devils insurance runs in the win. Jayme Bailey's solo home run provided the only run for the Hokies.
