(LLN Randy) Pomona - On Monday, August 2, 2021, Pomona Pd attempted to pull over a white Ford vehicle that refused to stop for the officers. The suspect led officers on a slow Pursuit through the city of Pomona. The suspect vehicle came to a stop at a residence on S. Reservoir St and E. Philadelphia St. Pomona officers requested their SWAT vehicle to come in and assist by blocking the vehicle from leaving. Pomona officers and a sergeant from Pomona Pd made several attempts to have the female come out and end this in a peaceful matter. After about a half an hour officers moved in and broke the back window and shoot pepper balls inside the vehicle. The female eventually came out and was taken into custody. The female was transported to Pomona Valley Hospital.
