Sargodha, the city of Shaheens Sargodha city was founded by an English woman in 1903. Sargodha city is the first city in Pakistan to be settled under a master plan. In 1949, it was given the status of a tehsil, and the city later became a district and then a divisional headquarters. The income of the people of Sargodha is highly dependent on agricultural production. Sangtra Masami Fruiter Blood Malta ranks first in the world in red blood malt and grapefruit production, 11th in rice production and eighth in the world in sugarcane production.
Sargodha has a population of 458,440 people and is the 11th largest city in Pakistan in terms of population.
