In a major anti-corruption drive, teams from the Andhra Pradesh Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted surprise raids on Urban Planning departments across multiple municipal corporations in Andhra Pradesh.

According to officials, ACB teams simultaneously inspected offices in 13 municipal corporations as part of a statewide operation targeting alleged irregularities in the Town Planning departments.

During the inspections, unaccounted cash was reportedly found with several officials, raising serious concerns about corruption and illegal practices in the department.

Authorities stated that the raids are part of an ongoing investigation and search operations will continue today as well to gather further evidence.
