In this conversation, Kari Harbath, Kim Brannon, and Adam Sockel discuss how organizations handle trauma in the workplace. The video opens with Kari sharing the story of how her life changed forever with the birth of her daughter, Sloan. Sloan was born in April 2019. In September of that year, Kari's mother passed away. In October of 2019, Sloan was diagnosed with CHARGE syndrome. Then, in June of 2020, Kari's husband died of suicide.

We discuss Kari’s story, how Pluralsight responded to provide support, and what all employers and employees can and should do to try to prepare for any situation.
