Suzuki DR650 GSXR 35F0 exhaust custom midpipe

The muffler is from a 2001-2003 GSXR 600/750, specifically the 35F0 stamped on the muffler body. The other muffler that works well is the 40F0 from the 2000-2002 GSXR 1000, but they are much harder to find now. The midpipe was made by cutting up parts of a GSXR 600/750 header from a 2004-2005 model, luckily the four primary header pipes are 1.51" diameter which fits the DR650 muffler gasket perfectly. You can see in the video the pipe steps up in sections and curves around the frame before joining the 2 1/8" pipe on the mounting flange. It is all stainless so you will need a Tig welder. The mounting bracket is made from 1" x 1/4" thick aluminum flat bar and neoprene washers with silicone tubing serve as the vibration isolation for the mounting bolt and muffler hangar tab.
