🍲 Our day began with a warm bowl of Ash-e Doogh, shared among villagers — a yogurt and herb soup that embodies the freshness of mountain life.
🔥 Beside the saj, Mrs. Afsaneh roasted wheat, lentils, and corn, their earthy scent blending with the cool mountain breeze.
🥣 As the evening arrived, Mrs. Nimtaj prepared Omaj Ash, a hearty village dish made from wheat dough, lentils, and crispy golden onions, with every ingredient nurtured from their own land.
🌙 When night fell, under the soft glow of an oil lamp, we all gathered for shab-chereh, a humble feast of roasted grains, walnuts, and pumpkin seeds, shared with laughter and stories that bridged generations.

This is not just food. It is memory, community, and the enduring soul of Iranian village life.
