2 Player Boss Duos (Unknown) - Cameo Battle | Tales of the Abyss

"I will not... LOSE!"

Reid and co. are probably the hardest a fight has been for us this entire run, which honestly is to be expected.

At the very start of the fight we have one major thing to worry about... Mint's "Acid Rain". This spell debuffs both of our physical defense by a large percentage.
Not stopping this spell means Reid can kill us with one "Neo Swarm".
Stopping the spell is easy, just use OVL Burst.

Once phase 2 starts with "Aurora Wall" healing and reviving Reid's team the fight is instantly much easier. Kill Mint again and focus on finishing what little is left of Reid's HP.

We do get unlucky with a Nanaly life bottle reviving Reid but he doesn't come back with much HP so its fine.

Philia has Sacred Penance which is honestly super hard to deal with because she can activate it in hitstun, but because we have no rules against getting hit we decided to just tank through it. (it can't kill anyways)

A really fun fight that required a bit of prog to really get an idea of what we wanted to do! And I can say the same about the next fight too... :eyes:
