NEW Huawei-backed AITO M7 in-depth Walkaround

The AITO M7, introduced in 2022 under the AITO brand and manufactured by Chinese carmaker Seres, is a range-extended electric SUV. It utilizes a modified platform design based on the Fengon ix7, which shares the same platform with the Fengon 580.

In its rear-wheel-drive configuration, the AITO M7 features a 1.5-liter turbocharged range extender generating up to 90 kW of power, paired with a 200-kilowatt (268 hp; 272 PS) electric motor. For enhanced traction, the four-wheel-drive variant includes a 130-kilowatt (174 hp; 177 PS) front motor. This combination allows the four-wheel-drive model to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in just 4.8 seconds, boasting a combined output of 455 PS; 335 kW (449 hp) and 660 N⋅m (487 lb⋅ft) of torque.

In terms of range, the rear-wheel-drive AITO M7 offers 195 kilometers (121 miles) on a single charge, whereas the four-wheel-drive version provides 165 kilometers (103 miles). When considering both electric and range extender capabilities, the rear-wheel-drive model achieves an impressive total range of 1,220 kilometers (758 miles), while the four-wheel-drive M7 offers an overall range of 1,100 kilometers (684 miles). The vehicle's dimensions include a wheelbase of 2,820 mm (111.0 in), a length of 5,020 mm (197.6 in), a width of 1,945 mm (76.6 in), and a height of 1,775 mm (69.9 in).
