A fire broke out in the endoscopy room of AIIMS on August 07 after which all the people inside the building were evacuated. More than six fire tenders are present at the spot and the efforts to douse the flames are underway. Till now, no casualties have been reported in the incident.

The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. Further details are awaited.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
