The Canadian Arabic Orchestra - Tala’ Albadr Alayna - طلع البدر علينا

Directed by the Canadian Arabic Orchestra’s Artistic Director and Co-Founder Lamees Audeh, an all female cast from members of the orchestra took us on a journey with Ornina, the first woman singer in history. This Sufi style concert, showcases songs written, composed, and performed by Arab women throughout the history of Arabic music. This concert was first performed as part of the Festival of Arabic Music and Arts 2021 (FAMA 2021) at the RBC Theatre in the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

ضمن فعاليات مهرجان الموسيقى والفنون العربية فاما 2021 ، أخذتنا مجموعة من السيدات أعضاء الأوركسترا الكندية العربية في رحلة عبر تاريخ الموسيقى والفن الصوفي بأيدي نساء العرب تحكي قصة أورنينا أول مغنية في التاريخ، مسلطة الأضواء على شاعرات وملحنات ومغنيات العرب ، بإشراف المديرة الفنية للأوركسترا لميس عودة قُدم هذا الحفل لأول مرة ضمن مهرجان الموسيقى والفنون العربية فاما 2021 في قاعة RBC في ميسيساغا يوم السبت 27 نوفمبر 2021.
