I am a German living in Malaysia currently since march this year. While traveling Malaysia for over 9 months now I encountered quite a few cultural differences between Germany and Malaysia. The German culture is very different than the Malaysia culture. Food for example is a huge topic and an important part of the life in Malaysia. As a traveler I love experiencing cultural differences. Especially here in Malaysia where you can find so many cultural diversities, which makes the Malaysian culture unique and interesting. Life in Malaysia is quite different than life in Germany. When you are thinking about moving to Germany or moving to Malaysia, then this video about the cultural differences between Germany and Malaysia might be helpful for you. I had a chat with a local from Malaysia about many of the cultural differences between this Asian and my western country.
