Sports Live | Dricus to light up Perth sky

South Africa's sporting stars are taking over the capital of Western Australia, Perth, this weekend.

Apart from the Rugby Championship test match between the Wallabies and the Springboks this morning, where the Boks won by 30 to 12 points, South Africa's UFC middleweight champion and one man Springbok team Dricus du Plessis, will put his title on the line for the first time on Sunday.

He fights Nigerian-born Israel Adesanya in the early hours of tomorrow South African time.

Du Plessis has confirmed that Springbok captain Siya Kolisi and Eben Etzebeth will be leading him out to the octagon for his title defence.
