Culture can be defined as “deeply rooted patterns of values, customs, attitudes and beliefs that distinguish one group from another.” Knowing someones values, beliefs and traditions while celebrating their cuisine not only shows your respect towards them but also you willingness to immerse in their culture. I have started this series in my attempt to add value to aspiring and existing cabin crew members to become culturally intelligent and aware as culture subconsciously guides our behavior and thoughts, and often influences our sense of belonging, motivation and effectiveness at personal & professional level.

Nidhi Belani is an Ex- Singapore Airlines Cabin Crew. She joined as a Flight stewardess and with-in a record time of 5 years, was promoted to a Leading stewardess and was in-charge of supervising and mentoring crew on flights. As a Rank Trainer with Singapore Airlines, she has trained and coached for 6 years. She was also part of the recruiting team involved in the interview process for new recruits. She has more than 15 years of training and coaching experience in the customer service and hospitality industry. What better use will be of that experience than to share it with all of you.

She cherishes her decade long journey with Singapore Airlines and this channel is dedicated to everyone who wants to know everything about the life of cabin crew and successfully clear cabin crew interview to join their dream airline and make that dream of becoming cabin crew, a reality!
