Bernhard Sönnerstedt sings Swedish Songs (1947)

Описание к видео Bernhard Sönnerstedt sings Swedish Songs (1947)

Baritone Bernhard Sönnerstedt in four songs from his native Sweden. From 1947. He is perhaps best remembered for his 1953 performance with Birgit Nilsson of Bartók's "Duke Bluebeard's Castle" (Fricsay, conductor) or his recording under Furtwängler of the Brahms "Requiem". He actually recorded a fair amount for HMV (Grieg, Wolf, Bach, Brahms....) Hopefully, more from this singer will surface!
